Step beyond the city lights of Perth and uncover the beauty of Western Australia. From coral coastlines and rugged outback to world-class regions, every corner of Western Australia offers something unique to explore.

THE CORAL COAST
Western Australia's Coral Coast stretches from Cervantes to Exmouth and is home to some of the state's most iconic natural attractions.
At the heart lies Ningaloo Reef (Nyinggulu), a World Heritage-listed treasure where the reef meets the shore. Here, visitors can swim alongside whale sharks, humpback whales and manta rays. Further along the coast, encounter the friendly dolphins of Monkey Mia, see the pink waters of Hutt Langoon and explore wildflower country in season.
Inland highlights include the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park and the Kalbarri Skywalk, which overlooks dramatic gorges and coastal cliffs.

THE SOUTH WEST
Western Australia's South West offers a relaxed, laid-back lifestyle alongside world-class food, wine and natural attractions. At the heart of the region, the Margaret River area is renowned for its vineyards, cellar doors, distilleries and award-winning restaurants, perfect for savouring gourmet experiences at your own pace.
Along the coastline, visitors can surf at some of Australia's best beaches, swim, snorkel or watch humpback whales on their annual migration. Inland, towering forests, scenic walking trails, and encounters with kangaroos and other native wildlife showcase the region's natural charm, while opportunities to connect with Wadandi and Bubbulmun country highlight its cultural richness.

THE NORTH WEST
Western Australia's North West is a land of striking contrasts, where deep red earth meets turquoise tidal waters and lush river landscapes. The Kimberley, a vast wilderness area, reveals ancient sandstone formations, winding rivers and gorges shaped over billions of years.
Walk with an Aboriginal guide through World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park to see the Bungle Bungle Range, enjoy a sunset camel ride along Broome's famous Cable Beach (Rubibi), or take a scenic flight over the Horizontal Falls. The region's rich stories are woven through its Aboriginal heritage and the pearling history that shaped Broome. Further south, Karijini National Park offers crystal-clear pools, waterfalls and towering gorges, while remote lodges let you end the day beneath a sky full of stars.

THE MID WEST
Western Australia's Mid West stretches along the Coral Coast and is home to iconic destinations such as Shark Bay, Kalbarri and Exmouth. Geraldton, the largest city north of Perth, draws visitors with its relaxed coastal lifestyle, culture and stunning scenery. Here, the Batavia Museum tells the story of the Batavia shipwreck, located 65km offshore.
Inland, Kalbarri National Park showcases the Murchison River and scenic walking trails. The region extends further north and east to Wiluna and the Gibson Desert, where rugged outback landscapes and remote wilderness dominate. Each spring, the Mid West bursts into colour as vast wildflower displays blanket the land.

THE GOLDEN OUTBACK
Named for its gold rush past, step back in time in the historic Goldfields, where towns like Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie reflect the pioneering era. Explore one of the world's largest outdoor galleries, with Aboriginal rock art scattered throughout the region, while red earth and wide-open skies define the landscape.
Mighty Mount Augustus, two and a half times the size of Uluru, and the iconic Wave Rock, a natural landlocked swell, rise from the ochre-red terrain. Wildlife encounters are abundant; Kangaroos and emus can be spotted across the plains.
Along the coast, Lucky Bay in Esperance (Kepa Kurl) has white sand beaches and turquoise waters, while the pink Lake Hillier in the Recherche Archipelago contrasts with the deep-blue Indian Ocean. Seasonal wildflowers and clear starry skies complete the region's unique natural appeal.
